Here are some reasons why you might select Clint when it comes to buying or selling a home:
Experience and Consistency—Clint continually remains a top producing agent at Coldwell Banker. His many awards and designations above are just a small reflection of the drive and passion he possesses toward every sale he is involved with.
Certified Negotiaton Expert (CNE)—Clint attended intensive workshop training to recieve this highly prized designation. Understanding the psychology of buying and selling, recognizing various negotiation tactics, knowing how to persuade anyone, and discovering how to create win/win solutions for clients on both side of the table were just a few of the many subjects that were covered.
CRS Certified—Only 4% of all realtors in the U.S. receive the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, and only those who are dead serious about their profession. Striving to find out more about the latest trends, changes, and the how-to’s of real estate, Clint continually keeps abreast by attending the very latest CRS workshops and seminars.
Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR)—Clint attended workshops in 2009 to receive a SFR designation that gave him extended knowledge about short sales and foreclosed properties. He put this knowledge to work right away assisting clients with distressed sales, and continues to keep things bright for many in "upside-down" situations.
Knowledge of the Local Market—Clint regularly studies market data, and then sums up the statistics in a monthly news column for the News Review. Many readers rely on his column to keep them up-to-date with the pace of local real estate. He was also a featured speaker at the IWV Economic Outlook Conference in May 2010 and February 2013 where he gave the community a synopsis of the health of the local real estate market.
Knowledge of the Local Area—Clint grew up in Ridgecrest and graduated from Burroughs High School. He knows first-hand the history of the community, and how each unique area of Ridgecrest has developed and expanded over the years.
Stickler For Details—Clint places detailed emphasis on every step of the sales process. Each market analysis, negotiation, contract, and closing, are all marked with a heightened focus that Clint picked up while assisting in the production of major jazz concerts and video/radio projects while living in Tokyo, Japan.
Listening Ears and Heart—Clint completed a Masters of Ministry degree from Simpson University. Working in the ministry in the past has allowed him to acquire a disposition that listens first and speaks whenever necessary.
Just Out Doin’ It!—From his open houses, to his website, to his care for his clients, Clint can be seen about town six days a week with a passion in his walk for real estate!
From smooth real estate transactions to smooth jazz, Realtor Clint Freeman has a touch for working with people. His signature phrase “On time and on top of it” is lived out daily in his work at Coldwell Banker Best Realty. “Satisfying someone with the service I provide as a realtor is my favorite part of the job,” says Clint. As Clint seeks to fulfill the needs of sellers and buyers, it is his determination to be proactive with any issues that may arise.
“Buying or selling a home is an emotionally charged process. It is one of the most important decisions people make, and there is a lot of stress that goes along with it. No doubt, what some people perceive as the easy highway can turn into a corner of many surprises and unknowns. 85% of the work of a realtor is coordinating win/win solutions with various parties so an escrow can successfully close. Interestingly, people generally do not perceive realtors as conflict resolution managers,” explains Freeman as he takes a moment out between contacting yet another client.
Along with residential resale homes, “which I love to work with,” Clint has become increasingly involved with new home development in the area. His latest project was with builder Steve Collins of Cal West Homes who built many very high quality, yet very affordable, starter homes in the Ridgecrest Heights area.
One of Clint’s deep interests is music and “I often utilized musical themes to market my listings and myself,” he adds. In 2005 he reformed the Flams Ensemble where he provided the heartbeat for the group as the drummer. Their smooth, fusion, and R&B jazz sound could be occasionally heard around town for seasonal events, and when Clint hosted a “Thank You” celebration for his clients and the public. The group is presently taking a hiatus.
Clint previously lived in Tokyo, Japan for 17 years and assisted in producing some of the greatest living legends of contemporary jazz and popular music for stage, television, and radio. “The techniques used to successfully promote top recording artists and concert events are interestingly some of the same ones that sell houses. Allow me to make your house stand out and sell like a star! If you are a buyer you’ll be treated like one.”
While in Japan, Clint earned two bachelor degrees: one in Human Behavior from Newport University Tokyo, and another from Nichibei Japanese Language School. Freeman also holds a Master of Ministry degree from Simpson University in Redding, California, and has ministered in Japan and Iowa.
Freeman grew up in Ridgecrest, played with the Burroughs Jazz Band in 1973-74, and graduated from BHS in 1974. He returned to Ridgecrest in 2003 and now lives with his wife Joanne. His two children, Miles and Alicia, reside in New York City.
